Flashback

How can I fix the error message that appears after a few seconds of loading?

Older builds of BlackBerry OS5 do not support the ability to turn on the LED light. You'll need to upgrade to a newer build, most phone providers will have an OTA (Over the Air) upgrade available to download.

If you have recently upgraded from OS5 to OS6, you will need to uninstall the FlashBack application, reboot, and download the application again - this will ensure you have the OS6 specific version.

Why does the LED light turns off when the main screen turns off?

This is a natural limitation of OS6 at the time FlashBack was developed. This will be fixed in future versions of the application.

Is there a faster way to turn on the flashlight?

Absolutely! Many BlackBerry Bold owners like to use their left-side convenience key to load up FlashBack and shine a light at a click of a button.

Some reviews say there are no ads, but there are!

There are advertisements in the OS 5.x version but in OS 6.x, the advertisements are removed. Future versions will be split between free and advertising supported - the ads will enable you to keep your light on, even if the screen is off.
